 About Mary "B" Battaglia, GRI, CRS

My name is Mary Battaglia—Mary “B” for short—and I have proudly served as a full-time Austin real estate agent for over 25 years. My services encompass buyer and seller representation for both new and pre-owned homes, corporate relocations, investment assistance, foreclosures, and estate properties. 

A Personal Touch

Born in Houston, TX, I grew up with two older brothers who sparked my love for the outdoors and sports. Today, I enjoy family activities, snow skiing, fishing, and traveling. Recently, collecting fine antiques—especially china, crystal, and American collectibles—has become a passionate hobby.

Family plays a central role in my life. Raised by Italian and Czech parents, I cherish the old-world values of home and strong family unity. My husband is also involved in real estate, and we share our pride in our son Shawn, a Texas A&M Mays Business School graduate and award-winning financial advisor with Edward Jones – as you may have imagined, I am a very supportive mom. Our family is completed by an adorably spoiled Shih Tzu named Shadow.

Professional Experience and Expertise

I began my real estate career in Houston before moving to Austin in the early 1980s, where I have worked full-time ever since. My specialization is in residential real estate, and I am an accredited Corporate Relocation Specialist and USAA Certified. My success is built on a professional reputation among peers, consistent communication throughout the sales process, innovative marketing, and staunch client advocacy. 

Commitment to Community and Industry

Committed to both my profession and community, I have served on the Texas Association of REALTORS® Grievance Committee for several years and currently serve on the State Professional Standards Committee.

As a member and Committee Chair of the Austin Junior Forum, I volunteer to support women, children, and the elderly in the Austin area. I also actively raise funds for the American Cancer Society and support The Missy Project—a cause dedicated to brain aneurysm awareness, research, and screenings.
